The never-before-seen collaboration is available for a limited time only

15 May 2024: Worlds are colliding! Macca’s is launching exclusive Yu-Gi-Oh! x Hello Kitty® and Friends Happy Meal toys available nationwide from Thursday 16 May, for a limited time only.

Yu-Gi-Oh!, best known for the in-universe card game and Dual Monsters television series, and Sanrio’s Hello Kitty® and Friends are being brought together for the first time for Happy Meal customers. The ultimate collaboration, the Happy Meal toys are set to fly out of local Macca’s restaurants and into the homes of ultimate anime fans.

Macca’s fans can collect 10 limited edition plush Happy Meal toys of their favourite Yu-Gi-Oh! x Hello Kitty® and Friends characters including Hello Kitty® x Dark Magician, Keroppi x Kuriboh, and Pompompurin™ x Exodia The Forbidden One to name a few.

Amanda Nakad, Director of Marketing for McDonald’s Australia said, “We’re thrilled to be launching this never-before-seen range of Happy Meal toys, bringing together two iconic anime franchises.”

The limited-edition Yu-Gi-Oh! x Hello Kitty® and Friends Happy Meal is available across Macca’s restaurants nationwide, via the MyMacca’s app and McDelivery, from Thursday 16 May, while stocks last.

Also launching in Macca’s restaurants today is a new breakfast offer. Start your day for just $5.95, with a Small Hot Coffee from McCafé and a choice of McMuffin (Bacon and Egg, Sausage and Egg, Sausage, or Chicken McMuffin), available for a limited time only.
