Oklahoma City Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and his girlfriend reportedly moved into their Toronto home in May, but the couple was arrested after someone came to the home looking for the previous owner. I left and haven’t returned.
Gilgeous Alexander bought a house From Aiden Pretelski, the self-proclaimed “cryptocurrency king” who declared bankruptcy last year.
According to court records, Mr. Pretelski owes nearly C$27 million to more than 150 investment clients and was also kidnapped and assaulted in December.

The NBA player’s lawsuit says the seller of the home never disclosed the potential safety threat.
“Defendants have shown that no reasonable person considering a property of that type, quality, and price would not purchase it if the history of threatened visits to the property and its continued risk were known. knew,” the complaint states. per CBC.
