More than 99% of all Asian-made vehicles destined for Canada pass through the Port of Vancouver. But #DYK that 25,000 vehicles, and high and heavy equipment rely on facilities for vehicle processing? This is one reason why we’re excited to share, in partnership with Wallenius Wilhelmsen, that construction has begun on the new vehicle processing centre at Annacis Auto Terminal. At the new vehicle processing facility, vehicles that arrive to the port either internationally or domestically will undergo a series of inspections and customizations. The new vehicle processing centre is part of the Annacis Auto Terminal Optimization Project, which will improve the efficiency of the existing terminal operations and increase its capacity to handle a greater volume of automobile imports in the future.Check out the progress below ⤵️
