Happy to work as hard as I do for my team. A better, kinder, funnier, more amazing group of people you'd be hard pressed to find.

When leaders possess emotional intelligence and work together as a team, they can create a strong and productive work environment. A team of emotionally intelligent leaders can communicate and collaborate effectively, understand and support the needs of their team members, and work towards a shared vision and goals.Leaders who possess emotional intelligence can also provide support and guidance to each other, and help each other manage and regulate their emotions in high-pressure situations. They can also lead by example, modeling the behavior they expect from their team members, and creating a positive and productive work culture.Overall, a team of emotionally intelligent leaders can be a powerful force, motivating and inspiring their team members to achieve success and driving their organization towards its goals.

i must have really bad luck because in 2.5 years of job searching, a recruiter never helped me to get a job. I did receive plenty of help making my resume look very good. When i quit looking for a job out of the blue another American i rubbed shoulders with in China who has a 3D Printer and CNC company mentioned how terrible and lazy their Chinese engineers were at fixing anything anything. Three years, zero improvements and all on top of that.. no suggestions about new products. I spent 4 days working on one of their software bugs just to get some extra cash. Their current dev spent 6 months on and accomplished nothing. I'm finished in 10 days with a deployable self-installer binary for the customers for MacOS, Linux and Windows. Next thing i know, the owner of the company approaches me and says: "i'd really like to hire you because we could really use your skills at this company, but sales are not good right now...". I threw out a number that was incredibly low for my skillset. Offer accepted plus the owner has agreed to give me commissions on any of the products i fix/improve/develop at this company. What i'm taking away from this 2.5 years of job searching is this:"Professional networking is VERY important, but make the ratio of Recruiters to Like-minded professionals a very lopsided ratio". I have no statistics to back it up but let's say for every 1 recruiter connect with 9 other professionals. Don't just add them to linkedin, meet up with them and have some kind of meaningful conversation with them.I don't think i've actually been offered a job in the last 15 years through a recruiter, it's always been someone that knows a company that needs someone like me. So my advise is to "Make your Professional Portfolio AWESOME", excel in whatever you do even if it's not a popular skill within the industry.

One of the aspects I love most about this job is being in a position to invite people into what we're building here at San Diego Loyal Soccer Club. Poncho Alvarez is a San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce colleague and we're both members of the Coastal Connection Bay Area Group, designed to build community, grow referral networks, and foster connections. At our bi-weekly meetings, we get to share our most pressing "ask" with the group. Rather than requesting direct referrals to companies who do group outings for their employees or use sporting events to reward staff / engage clients, my ask the other week was simple: "Come out to a game!"We believe wholeheartedly in the product SD Loyal is putting on the field and the magical experience of matchday, so one fantastic way for that awareness to continue spread is for SD business leaders to come see it firsthand. Thanks so much, Poncho (and many others), for taking me up on the offer for free tickets and for sharing these kind words! I'm so glad you and your son enjoyed the match. To the greater SD business community: If your company does outings, rewards employees, or entertains clients/partners OR you're curious about what we're building and you haven't checked out a Loyal match yet, here's my ask. Shoot me a message, let me know what dates are ideal for you, and I'll send you a pair of tickets!Oh, and if you're an SMB interested in exploring options for cybersecurity for you and your team, hit up my friend Poncho. #business #events #sandiego #sportsindustry #chamberofcommerce #referralnetworking #soccer #cybersecurity #community #leaders

As if trends aren't one part of a cohesive strategy 🤔 Knowing how to jump on trends that support our strategic aims and building a strategy with room for social's reactive nature is all part of the skillset in my books!

Professionals,Allow this to remind you: Trends could provide a great temporary impact, just remember to have a strategy for using the trend and having the next order of business ready so you aren't scrambling when the trend is over.#professionals #trends #strategy
